ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) Course

REAL TALK English is delivered with real life dialogue, discussions, negotiations and conversations. It has a full range of computer-based activities including listening tasks, text display options, speaking and conversation exercises.
The Learning Skills Council (LSC) has recognised this course as underpinning knowledge for Entry Levels 1, 2, and 3 of the Adult ESOL Core Curriculum.

The on-line course consists of a full range of activities that can be accessed at Entry Levels 1, 2 and 3 of the New Adult ESOL Core Curriculum. Each Entry Level has 10 different scenarios to work on (when you purchase the course, you will have access to all 3 levels). This is a versatile and flexible product intended to aid practice for students wishing to conquer English as a second language.

REAL TALK English has been written by Chris Armstrong of NWHC and approved by Sian Whiteley, who was recently awarded an MBE for services to adult basic skills. Chris and Sian have many years experience as ESOL tutors.

The 12 month licence allows the student to take the course and associated Assessments as often as required, whenever required and from any Internet connected computer in the world. The built in Learning Management System will track student’s progress and produce reports for the student showing the modules that have been taken, success, areas of weakness, and current scores.

On completion of this course you may print a transcript off as evidence of your progression throughout the course.

This course is an online course. With online study you have access to your entire course from the start of your studies. You can access your course materials, and submit all of your question papers to your personal tutor, online from anywhere in the World using your unique student account.

There is no experience or previous qualifications required for enrolment on this course. It is available to all students, of all academic backgrounds.

This is only an approximate figure and is dependant upon how much time you can dedicate to your studies and how well you grasp the learning concepts in the course material. Furthermore, at the end of each lesson there is a question paper that needs to be completed and returned to your tutor. You should allow at least 1 - 2 hours of study to complete each question paper.

The approximate amount of time required to complete the course is: 120 hrs.

This course is different to other courses hosted on Elearnuk. The course is supplied by Stonebridge Associated Colleges in conjunction with Stonebridge IT School.

Once you have enrolled and paid for your course you will receive an email within 24-72 hours. The email will contain your username and password to login to your course.
