Stonebridge Associated Colleges are proud to announce that we have recently been granted Accredited Alliance Status with the World Certification Institute (www.worldcertification.org.) whose listing includes some of the finest educational establishments in the World, such as: the University of Cambridge and the University of Oxford, as well as many other leading U.K. and Worldwide Universities.

The World Certification Institute is an international body registered in the United States, with regional centres in Europe, Oceania, Asia, America and Africa. The world body serves as a leading global authority to recognize cross-national skills, competencies and professional practices that are derived from internationally accepted best practices.

In a written assessment report, Professor Philip Poh who is currently Chair of World Certification Board commented, “The Board recognizes that the Stonebridge Associated Colleges currently offer over 600 home study courses and the Group has build up a reputation of professional expertise in diverse occupational fields.”

The World Certification Institute attracts a global membership representing competent professionals and practitioners from diverse occupational backgrounds and cross-functional disciplines.

Mr Alan Shimmel, Vice-President and Registrar at the World Certification Institute explained, “The World Certification Institute awards two broad categories of professional credentials and successful applicants are admitted into a World Register Listing either as a certified or an accredited status. An applicant must attain a degree-equivalent or a recognized professional diploma qualification before the applicant can be considered for the certified status. I am pleased to inform that the Stonebridge diploma awards have been recognized by the Institute as an acceptable qualification for the certified status.”

1. In order to gain the Certified Professional status, Stonebridge graduates with a minimum of 3 years relevant working experience and having achieved a diploma through Stonebridge, can apply to be awarded the professional credential as “World Certified Professional”. Once graduates have attained this professional level they may use the post nominal letters “WCP”. They can also be considered for a minimum level of an associate membership with the World Certification Institute and may also use the post nominal membership as “AWCI”.

2. Stonebridge graduates without the pre-requisite diploma but with a minimum of 3 years relevant working experience can apply to be awarded the professional credential as “World Accredited Practitioner” and may use the post nominal letters “WAP”.
